Calendar Input Settings is located under My Calendar > Settings > Input<\/code>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Input settings govern which fields are visible when adding events in the admin. For more efficient event creation, it can be helpful to remove sections that you won’t use. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Calendar Input Fields<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Event editing fields to show<\/strong> – Restrict your event authors from using certain fields, or reduce the number of fields you see when creating or editing events. Use these options to remove fields you don’t plan to use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Example<\/strong>: Uncheck Categories and Event Location. Click Save Input Settings. Go to add an event or edit an existing event. Notice that Categories and Event Location inputs have been removed. This will remove Categories and Event Locations for all users<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An alternative method is to use Screen Options in the Add Event or existing event screen to hide fields. Example<\/strong><\/em>: Categories and Event Location for all events. This will remove Categories and Event Locations just for my user<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Location Controls<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

With Location Controls you can define the values available when adding a new location. Save custom values to change location text fields into dropdowns. One field per line. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
