If you&#8217;re offering events in more than one language, you can mark the language for each event. This is primarily about screen reader accessibility; when an event is marked as being in an alternate language, the output HTML will be wrapped in a container with the <code>lang<\/code> attribute set to the chosen language, so screen readers will pronounce the change in language correctly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This feature is automatically turned on if your site has more than one language installed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Additional language packs may not be installed if you&#8217;re not supporting a fully-translated multilingual site or don&#8217;t have any site users using alternate languages for the admin. If so, you can install any WordPress language pack by going to <code>WordPress &gt; Settings &gt; General<\/code> and changing the Site Language to the desired language. Once the language is installed, you can switch back to your preferred language, but the additional language will remain available. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once all desired languages are installed, you have the option to choose the site language for your events. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Enable private event description setting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"370\" height=\"240\" src=\"https:\/\/docs.joedolson.com\/my-calendar-pro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2023\/07\/image.png\" alt=\"Check box between 'Excerpt' and 'Categories' to set event details to private.\" class=\"wp-image-376\" srcset=\"https:\/\/docs.joedolson.com\/my-calendar-pro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2023\/07\/image.png 370w, https:\/\/docs.joedolson.com\/my-calendar-pro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2023\/07\/image-300x195.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 370px) 100vw, 370px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you enable private content, then each event will offer a checkbox to keep the details for that event private.
