Events from Posts Settings is located under My Calendar > My Calendar Pro > <\/em>Events from Posts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reverse of \u201cBlog New Events\u201d, this feature allows you to generate a calendar event while creating other post types. Enable event creation from posts by checking \u201cPost events from posts\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Supported Post Types<\/strong>
All public post types are available such as “Posts”, “Pages”, “Media” and\/or “Locations”; check the post types where you\u2019d like to be able to create new events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Events are drafts<\/strong>
Check \u2018Events from Posts are always created as drafts.\u2019 to default all new events as drafts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Creating Events in Posts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

My Calendar Pro adds a meta box with a slightly reduced version of the My Calendar \u201cAdd Event\u201d form on enabled post types.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The events metabox includes most of the same fields available in the My Calendar user interface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Featured Images<\/strong>
My Calendar events created here will use the featured image set on the post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Copy events: <\/strong>You can\u2019t create multiple copies of an event<\/a> from a post; only single or recurring events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The form is used only for creating new events; once the event is created, it should be edited in the My Calendar event manager. Events are only created if the event title field is not empty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
